I was wondering WHEN anyone would do a live version of The Simpsons intro.

Yes, thanks to Richard, i was his partner in crime in this ever 1st Channel 5 Movie Marathon.
It all happen in the wee early morning of the 4th of March, Saturday. Looking at the schedule, 5 movie straight, namely, Brokeback Mountian, Capote, Walk the Line, Munich and Transamerica, its going to be a hell of a challenge where i'm going to prove myself that i'm capable to going through it. The 5 mins break in between and only 1/2hr of lunch and dinner break makes it even more challenging. From 9am till 10pm, our butts stuck to our seats through the grueling heavy content of the movies. Some unfortunately left for thier own reasons. but a majority held on and made it through the final movie. And as a reward, goodie bags were given out to the survivors which consist of the items below:
> Channel 5 Movie Marathon flag
> CSI mini crime scene tape
> Tansamerica keychain
> Walk the line postcard
> Desperate Housewife decal
> Davinci Code book mark
> Real:the movie notebook
> PS. I love you notepad
> Channel 5 : Lost ID necklace holder...and the best bits, 4 original, double sided posters of...
Finally reached home by 11 plus and knocked out into dream state.
Funny thing was, on the way back home, i felt like watching another movie....

Congratulations to Shaiful (massb) for his production of Tainted Flowers that took place on the 3rd of March 06. Kudos to Yazid with his bad-boy image portrayal and Yihan for his child like innocence. They both actually stole the lime light in my oppinion.
Simple but yet effective in execution. If i were to pick out the weakest link among the actors, it has to be the role of the father. It needed more substance and meaning to his behaviour and role in the family.
Aside from several malfunction of sound in the music department, and the dissapearing grave, the grand plot of the 'nemesis' that was alittle far fetch and a twist that was alittle expected, the stage play was a success.

It was a big turn out for the world premiere of Gubra at GV Grand. TV crews from MTV and Channel Suria we there hogging the cast for interviews and introductions. And then there were us, trying to stick to Yasmin long enough to get any inside scoop. Personally though i think we were abit too much in-the-face that it might scare them away. And there i was trying to be cool about it.
Pretty much all invitees were rounded up in the garden for the refreshments and dinner while mingling around, talking to aquaintences and friends. By 9pm later that evening, everyone were ushered into the screening hall to reveal the 1st revelation of Gubra on the silver screen. Heavier in topic range and emotions, Gubra is nothing like Sepet. The tone is generally more mature but one thing for sure, its dialogs and capers of particular scenes was a heartful signature of yasmin which i loved.
We stuck around after the show, to congratulate them for the great show and managed to salvage free posters and whats more, having them there, was a great opportunity to have personal autographs of them!
We bid them our final farewell and hoping we would meet agian in her upcoming film production to learn the nick-knacks of filming.

The day finally came on the 26th Feb 06 where we met the cast of Gubra, the much awaited sequel to the tragic Sepet. Expecting a much formal setting, we were thrown aback at the suggestion coming from Thomas, LHP marketing, that the bunch was in need of a meal. And that expectation of a quiet formal hit and run interview was suddenly wiped clean and so started the our most unexpected informal, laid back casual interview we had ever done.
Target was at 730pm at the Swissotel Stamford’s Kopitiam. I was the designated shooter, who was having the most frustrating time taking photos because of the lighting. Yellow lights is definately not my favourite lighting. Its bright enough but it messes up with the sensors in my camera into thinking its dark, thus causing it to have a slow shutter, which in turn makes ANY movement into a blurry patch of grotesque deformation. So i braved the envoronment and wished SOMETHING turned out fine among the endless shots.
Those present, Yasmin, the director of cos, who is very much motherly and fun to be with who speaks of her own class and humbleness. Sharifah, the lead actress, as cute as a button with a mouth that shoots like a GPMG leaving any traces to burn any unexpecting passer-by. a true chilli padi. Small and super spicy, it burns. I like...Oh and also not forgetting Alan, the on screen brother of the departed Jason to stir up emotion back into orked. Quiet and reserve, this model turns out to be not a bad actor who still has a long way to go. Anyone who thinks he looks familiar, will defiantely recognise him in various commercials on tv, the more recent, Airwick air fresher.
We soon departed and had our final photo shoot at the vicinity and bid farewell to the bunch. Till tomo that is, the world premiere of Gubra at GV Grand.

Came across a travel blog site that finally includes its own map system.
The Red Area = Been to places.
Create your own visited country map or write about it on the open travel guide
Clearly, i haven't to many places, so in my "To do list", visit as many countries as possible is my aim. No kidding. I love travelling.
