On the day after Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered in April 1968, Jane Elliott's third graders from the small, all-white town of Riceville, Iowa, came to class confused and upset. They recently had made King their "Hero of the Month," and they couldn't understand why someone would kill him. So Elliott decided to teach her class a daring lesson in the meaning of discrimination. She wanted to show her pupils what discrimination feels like, and what it can do to people so she divided her class by eye color -- those with blue eyes and those with brown.

What happened over the course of the unique two-day exercise astonished both students and teacher.

Finally American horror is back.



Adapted from the short story by Stephen King, a renowned horror novelist Mike Enslin (John Cusack) believes only in what he can see with his own two eyes. But after a string of bestsellers discrediting paranormal events in the most infamous haunted houses and graveyards around the world, he has no real proof of life - or afterlife. Enslin's phantom-free run of long and lonely nights, however, is about to change forever when he checks into suite 1408 of the notorious Dolphin Hotel for his latest project, "Ten Nights in Haunted Hotel Rooms." Defying the warnings of the hotel manager (Samuel L. Jackson), the author is the first person in years to stay in the reputedly haunted room. Another bestseller may be imminent, but first he must go from skeptic to true believer - and ultimately survive the night.

It was almost 1 year ago that we (read: me and Richard) covered the prayer opening for Jack Neo's latest film Just Follow Law. While updating the local scene pages of MX, i was looking around for its's teaser poster in thier official site when i stumble upon the gallery and chanced upon me and Richard in action. Yup, thats me at the back looking up. No i was loking for lizards (lame..i know), but i was trying to get an ariel shot of the whole group interview process in a tight spot.

Well its official now. I'm in the book club. Its been ages since i finished a book and now with MX opening up a new section for movie publications, its quite hard to deter away from the constant taunting to plunge into paperbacks.

Giving in to curiousity, Zodiac by Robert Graysmith became my poison last night.

I'm on page 50 now. Pretty good stuff.

Its a good thing stuff at work were done by thursday. My mag was successfully delivered on schedule which made a clearing for Jingle Ma's latest feature, Happy Birthday staring Louis Koo and Rene Liu, press conference where all three graced the event.

Thanks to Shaw, we managed to clinch interviews with all three, which you can view at moviexclusive.com soon. Jingle, as happy as always. Rene, as beautiful and petite as protrayed and Louis as cool and suave as hoped.

Oh and continuing with my goal of to be photographed with the stars instead, here's me with Louis and Rene ~yay~
